Trade Facilitation Network

About TFN

A Practitioner-Led Network for Global Trade

Connecting knowledge, experience and practice

Trade Facilitation Network exists to connect the people who move the world's trade — across borders, sectors and regions — so that practical experience shapes better outcomes for trade facilitation, transport and supply chains.

Our Mission

"To connect policy with practice, and to make the movement of goods across borders more efficient, connected and resilient."

Trade Facilitation Network — global maritime, road, rail and air trade connectivity

Our Story

Built by Practitioners, for Practitioners

TFN was founded on a simple observation: the professionals who understand trade facilitation best are the ones moving goods across borders every day, yet their experience rarely reaches the policy conversations that shape their work.

The network was built to close that gap — bringing together transport operators, logistics specialists, port and maritime professionals, and policy practitioners from across regions to exchange knowledge and contribute practical perspectives to how international trade actually functions.

Today, that same practitioner-first approach guides everything TFN does, from its focus areas to the way its Board of Governors is assembled.
