Trade Facilitation Network

Trade Facilitation Network (TFN) at the 2nd Pakistan Logistics & Shipping Summit 2026

The 2nd Pakistan Logistics & Shipping Summit 2026 (PSLS 2026) once again demonstrated that meaningful progress in trade and logistics is driven by collaboration, knowledge sharing, and practical solutions.

I am proud that Trade Facilitation Network (TFN) had a strong and influential presence at the summit, with several of our distinguished members contributing their expertise at the highest level.

Our members made valuable contributions across multiple sessions:

🔹 Mr. Saqib Majeed, Director, Rapid Cargo, professionally moderated Panel Discussion No. 3 – Logistics, facilitating an engaging dialogue among industry leaders.

🔹 Mr. Nadir Mumtaz, Ex-Chairman, Karachi Port Trust (KPT), and member board of Governors of TFN spoke on “Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Financing Pakistan’s Trade.” His presentation emphasized the distinction between predatory capital and genuine FDI, highlighting the importance of safeguarding Pakistan’s financial sovereignty.

🔹 Mr. Amer Zafar Durrani, Ex-World Bank, provided strategic insights into financing infrastructure and logistics development.

🔹 Ms. Farzana Noshab, Asian Development Bank (ADB), shared valuable perspectives on development-led logistics and regional connectivity.

Seeing so many TFN members actively shaping national discussions reflects our shared commitment to improving Pakistan’s trade facilitation ecosystem. TFN is more than a professional network—it is a platform where policymakers, logistics providers, customs experts, transport operators, academics, financiers, and international trade professionals work together to develop practical solutions for Pakistan’s connectivity with regional and global markets.

As Pakistan moves toward greater regional integration and digital trade, the need for collaboration has never been greater.

If you are passionate about trade facilitation, logistics, transport, customs modernization, regional connectivity, or supply chain development, we invite you to become part of the Trade Facilitation Network (TFN).

Together, we can transform ideas into action and contribute to a more efficient, competitive, and connected Pakistan.
