The Trade Facilitation Network (TFN) is pleased to announce the publication of its latest advisory paper, “Financial Instrument (FI/eFI) Waiver Framework for Pakistan’s Exports.”
This advisory has been developed to provide practical guidance to exporters, customs agents, freight forwarders, logistics companies, banks, and trade practitioners on the implementation of the Financial Instrument (FI/eFI) waiver introduced by the Ministry of Commerce for selected exports.
The publication explains the legal and regulatory framework, eligible commodities, geographic coverage, operational procedures, exporter obligations, compliance requirements, and common implementation issues under the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) system. It also includes practical recommendations aimed at improving awareness and facilitating smoother implementation of the policy.
By consolidating dispersed information into a single reference document, TFN seeks to support Pakistan’s export community in navigating regulatory requirements while promoting greater efficiency, transparency, and predictability in regional trade.
This advisory is intended as an informative resource and reflects TFN’s ongoing commitment to advancing trade facilitation through research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
We invite exporters, customs professionals, policymakers, chambers of commerce, and other stakeholders to review the advisory and share their feedback for future editions.
Together, we can build a more efficient, competitive, and connected trading environment for Pakistan.
