Trade Facilitation Network (TFN) – Call for Peace and Stability
The Trade Facilitation Network expresses deep concern over the escalating conflict in the Middle East. Wars and instability not only bring immense human suffering but also disrupt the economic lifelines that connect nations and support millions of livelihoods.
From the corridors linking Asia and the Middle East to the trade routes connecting Europe, the region serves as a critical bridge for global commerce. Prolonged conflict threatens supply chains, increases transport costs, and undermines the economic stability of many developing economies.
TFN firmly believes that trade connectivity thrives only in an environment of peace, cooperation, and mutual respect among nations. We therefore call on all parties to exercise restraint, prioritize dialogue, and work through diplomatic channels to achieve an immediate de-escalation.
Peace is not only a political necessity—it is an economic imperative for regional prosperity and global stability.
TFN stands with the international community in urging constructive engagement, humanitarian protection, and a peaceful resolution that safeguards the future of the region and the prosperity of its people.
“Trade corridors should carry goods and opportunity — not the consequences of war.
